Today’s Outfitey: Chiffon Top 03

Hello! Here’s another look on another breezy outfitey. Although again, this key piece is made of silk. Oh did I mention it’s a great buy from Ebay? Got it under 500Php its 2nd hand though but doesn’t look like it is! I love Ebay! Heehee. Shopping there is like hunting for the best finds & key pieces!

patch it up!

I liked how detailed the top is, so pairing it with a more simple bottom is the way to go. Like a said, not really a fan of mumble jumbled styling, I find it too complex & that there’s no certain area you’d want your eye to focus on. Another steal, I bought the tulip skirt for only 300 Php and the bag for under 2,000 Php during sale season. Achieved! 😉

THE OUTFITEY:

Patched silk top: Anna Sui

Black tulip skirt: Memo

Black & white wedge: Celine

Gray chain bag: Mango

Here’s another sheer look on my love affair with anything chiffon although this key piece is made from silk, nonetheless I’ve still categorized it under chiffon as to prove how I love sheer clothes 😉

green is in!

As much as I love green (being my favorite color) I noticed how few greens I have in my closet 😦 I just love this one much because I bought for a cheap price under 500 Php (on ebay-it’s the place for one-of-a-kind anything!) and yet it’s in its excellent condition! Pardon my love affair with my high waist shorts, I’ve been frequently wearing it (same with my skin-tight jeans) blame it on the hot Manila weather & blame it on my happiness for being almost back to my pre-pregnancy body (I still have 5 lbs. to lose you know 😦 ) Again, bandeau is the way to go! Although I would’ve worn it with a black bra, I guess being a parent can sometimes make you a bit conservative! 😉

THE OUTFITEY:

Green long-sleeved silk top: BCBG Max Azria

Black high waist shorts: Maldita

Brown braided belt: Dorothy Perkins

Brown studded wedges: Charles & Keith

Sling bag: LV Jeunne Fille Monogram

Remember: Balance is the key, if you’re covered on the upper part, you have an excuse to show some of the lower part of your body and vice versa. But sometimes, you can get all covered up or almost all showing as well. It all depends on how you pull it off, plus styling is very crucial.

That’s all!

ooo,

J.

So since it’s summer and the heat is scorching, wearing light textured clothes can make it a lot easier to survive (sobrang serious?!) So here’s another “casual” look that I share to you.

Take note, as I’ve said before if you’re looking for those “fashionista outfits” that totally deserves an A for effort, well I’m NOT one of them. I show my outfiteys JUST BECAUSE I want to. I am not a fashionista wannabe either, just an expression of one’s self people! :p

Moving on, here’s another breezy look!

sunny yellow

Again layer chiffon clothes with a tank top or bandeau para hindi mahalay ang dating! :p

Here’s a tip: since I like wearing shorts & skirts, I always make sure I pair them with a more “covered up” top. Sport it with shirts instead of tank tops alone, or if you want to wear tank top w/ it then layer it with a shrug or vest so that everything doesn’t look “tight” (from top to bottom) gets nyo? But if you’re going on a trip (say beach) then I guess this look is just right.

THE OUTFITEY:

White spaghetti top: Forever 21

Yellow chiffon top: Missy for Bayo

Denim shorts: Forever 21

Leopard print sandals: Schu

Vintage sling bag: Gucci

That’s all!

ooo,

J.
