Tao Yuan Restaurant

We’re definitely fans of Chinese food, isn’t it obvious?! LOL This is again another Sunday’s Best post and a very backlogged post indeed. So upon picking up the husband at the airport one Sunday afternoon, we decided to stroll around Resorts World and have dinner there. Good thing we all agreed we want Chinese food, so Tao Yuan won.

looks promising

We didn’t have any reservation and the line was getting longer.Good thing the receptionist has a reserved table (reserved at 8pm, we were there at 7pm) asking her if we can use the table since we’re quick eaters, she happily obliged & gave us the table. ๐Ÿ™‚

the set up

free house tea

I always try to pair my food with warm water ย (thanks to MC!) or in this case hot tea. It helps to break down fatty foods faster.

boiled sweet nuts

Tao Yuan has by far won in the category: Fastest Service! (to date) within 10-15 minutes upon ordering our food arrived, even before we were able to finish this appetizer. Gud jab!

Hainanese Chicken

Their Hainanese chicken is a MUST! taste very authentic, that’s what you get for having a Singaporean Chef! ๐Ÿ™‚

the sauces

Cereal Prawns

This is good! Although I would’ve wished that more cereals were sticked to the shrimps.

my dinner

and yes, everything goes well with Yang Chow Fried Rice.

It took us less than an hour to finish our meal, so time for more pictures.

Sing Hainanese Chicken House

So there’s a new Hainanese Chicken Restaurant in town.

Lets Sing It!

Curious enough, while waiting for time we decided to dine in & try their specialty.

looks promising

Their menu isn’t that extensive, but I assure they have enough to cover you for the night or noon. Heehee.

Sing's menu

Prices are affordable, we tried their Hainanese chicken.

hayan na! Hainanese!

Their Hainanese chicken was good, it was nothing special. Although I have to commend that the chicken was tender, it’s also a plus that their service is fast & staff are friendly. I think this particular set is aroung P400 pesos good for two and comes with Hainanese rice ๐Ÿ™‚ Not bad!

Hainanese rice anyone?

Not just an ordinary rice, it tasted good. It’s actually good enough to eat even without any viand. In Filipino, kanin pa lang ulam na! ๐Ÿ™‚ heehee.

Hainanese chicken wouldn’t be complete with these 3. Chili, soy and ginger sauce. I love putting way too much spice & sauce on my food so I asked for an additional and the staff gladly obliged. ๐Ÿ™‚
