The Proust Questionnaire

Posted on

It is a habit of mine to read my favorite blogs, mostly at the start of the week (Mondays). One of them includes Topaz Horizon. I like how personal Frances’ blog is yet it gives the feeling that you can totally relate with her. So I’ve read one of her post about Vanity Fair’s Proust Questionnaire and find it very thought-provoking. I am not really an avid fan of  magazines mainly because I know it’s not part of my to-buy things or at least not even think about buying the latest issues-always the back issues that are on sale. I have not allotted a budget for magazines but I always have an “extra” budget for books (yes, I know right?) So I try to get the latest scoops online via blogs or the magazines’ websites and links.

What exactly is the Proust Questionnaire? According to Wikipedia Proust questionnaire is a personality test, its name and modern popularity as a form of interview is owed to the responses given by the French writer Marcel Proust.

So let me answer The Interactive Proust Questionnaire from Vanity Fair.

So with that, my result was :

Clearly I answered much like Arnold Schwarzenegger! (Should I be proud?) I answered like a governor! LOL

But seriously, questionnaires like this can really be thought-provoking. I may be in my mid-20s but I think I’ve seen the worse that life has to offer thus I think this way. In the end such test like this won’t really dictate or tell who you are, only you can know who you are and what you’ve become over the years. I had a migraine fun answering this questionnaire though, it makes me know myself even more.

Have a great week ahead! 🙂
